The ideal time to visit Sundarban is from October to March, when the weather is cool and pleasant, wildlife sightings are more frequent, and the rivers are calm for boat safaris. Avoid monsoon months (June–September) as heavy rains can disrupt travel.
Sundarban is roughly 100 km from Kolkata. The most popular route is by road to Godkhali (about 3–4 hours), followed by a boat to your resort. We offer door-to-door pickup from any Kolkata hotel — just book and we handle the rest.
Our packages include AC vehicle transfer from Kolkata, boat safari through the mangroves, eco-resort accommodation, all meals (Bengali thali breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner), a certified local guide, and all necessary government forest permits.
Tiger sightings depend on luck and the season — early morning and dusk boat safaris give you the best chance. Our expert local guides know the most frequented spots. We also spot spotted deer, estuarine crocodiles, Irrawaddy dolphins, and over 200 bird species on every trip.
Absolutely. We follow all forest department safety guidelines. Our boats are equipped with life jackets and first-aid kits, guides are trained in wildlife safety protocols, and we never take tourists into restricted core zones. Safety is our top priority.
Yes! We specialise in custom itineraries for families, corporate groups, school trips, and solo travellers. Share your group size, preferred dates, and budget via WhatsApp or email and we'll design the perfect package for you.
Pack light, breathable clothes (earth tones are preferred near the forest), a sun hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, comfortable walking shoes, a camera, and any personal medication. We recommend leaving heavy luggage at your Kolkata hotel.
Cancellations made 7+ days before the tour date receive a full refund. 3–6 days prior: 50% refund. Less than 3 days: no refund. In case of natural calamities or government advisories that prevent travel, we offer a free date reschedule or full refund.
